Hello and welcome to the Black Brothers Fest, a Harry Potter fest focused on Regulus & Sirius Black. The minimum requirements are either a 1,000 word fic or a piece of clean lineart on unlined paper.

You must be 18+ to participate.

The planned schedule is as follows:

Nominations Open: 8 June

Prompting Opens: 15 June

Claiming Opens: 1 July

Nominations, Prompting, and Claiming Closes: 31 July, Midnight EDT
Works Due: ~~31 August~~ 15 September 11:59 PM EDT

Works Revealed: starting ~~1 September~~ 1 October

Creators Revealed: one week after all works go live.

Posting may be staggered or all at once, depending on the number of works received. If it is staggered, authors will receive communication in advance for their posting date.

But the absolute worst was Lupin. He had everyone fooled, the professors wrapped around his little finger, falling for his frail act. Lupin got to have tea in the library, despite the blanket ban on food & drink for everyone else. He skipped class without repercussion because he was on a first name basis with Madam Pomfrey. He was even made bloody prefect, a role he only used to let his friends off the hook and help them sneak around after curfew. He had his humble and shy act down to a science, and everyone ate it up.

Summary:

Harry feels sick, but there’s no time. Death Eaters have stormed the castle. Dumbledore does not get the death he had planned for.

The ghost doesn’t know who Harry is and doesn’t trust him, the first time anyone from the magical world looked at Harry without a hint of recognition. Just sees him as his parents’ child, not knowing that they died. Harry doesn’t trust him, either, remembering what Sirius said.
